Language Supplement: A language supplement of €50 (€62.75 incl. VAT 25.5%) is added to the guiding fee. The language supplement remains the same on public holidays and Sundays as on weekdays.
Sunday and Holiday Rates: A 100% increase (double rate) applies to Sundays and public holidays. This pricing table can be used for travel package pricing and general tours. Character/role-play tours, specialized tours, and guides' individual products are priced by separate agreement.
Fee Schedule Application Guidelines
Agreed Fees: A fee agreed upon in advance shall be paid for the guidance.
Arrival: The guide is required to be present 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the assignment.
Minimum Charge: The minimum charge for sightseeing tours and other guiding services is based on two (2) hours.
Sunday and Public Holiday Compensation: In addition to regular Sundays, holiday rates apply on: New Year's Day, Epiphany, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, May Day (Vappu), Ascension Day, Midsummer Eve, Midsummer Day, All Saints' Day, Independence Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.
Group Responsibility: A guide is responsible for guiding only one group at a time. For walking tours, the recommended maximum group size is 20 people per guide.
Delays: If a group is late, the guide is required to wait for at least half (½) an hour and, if possible, contact the client. If the vehicle or group is delayed by more than half (½) an hour, a fee is also paid for the waiting time.
Guide Cancellation: The guide has the right to cancel their assignment two (2) business days before the start of the task by 4:00 PM. If necessary, the guide must assist the client in finding a replacement and provide relevant documents to the person taking over the task.
Guide No-Show: In the event of a "no-show" by the guide without a valid reason, the guide shall pay compensation equivalent to the lost fee.
Client Cancellation: The client has the right to cancel the assignment two (2) business days before the tour by 4:00 PM. If the cancellation occurs later, or in the case of a group "no-show," the full fee corresponding to the assignment must be paid.
Meals: If the assignment includes a group meal, the client shall cover the costs of the guide's meal.
Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure, both the guide and the client shall bear their own respective losses.
Professional Conduct: The guide is expected to wear a guide badge during the assignment (unless otherwise agreed) and must be fit for work. The client has the right to withhold payment if the guide is unfit for work upon arrival or fails to perform the task according to instructions. The content of the tour must remain as agreed; any changes during the tour must be mutually settled.
Travel Expenses: Travel expenses related to the guide's assignment are to be agreed upon separately with the client in advance. These may apply if the start or end point of the tour is far from public transport routes or if public transport waiting times are unreasonable.
